Oncology Massage

Cancer changes more than the body. It can affect how you move, how you sleep, how you feel and how connected you feel to yourself. Oncology massage is a specialized approah designed to safely support people at every stage of the cancer journey, including during treatment, recovery, long-term survivorship and end-of-life care.

As a therapist trained in oncology massage, I adapt every session to your individual needs. Your treament is thoughfully modified based on your diagnosis, treatment history, medications, surgical procedures, radiation sites, ports, bone health, blood counts, lymphadema risk and energy level. Every decision is made with your comfort and safety as the highest priority.

Oncology massage is not intended to treat cancer itself. Instead, it offers gentle, evidence-informed support that may help reduce stress, ease anxiety, relieve muscle tension, decrease pain, improve sleep and promote an overall sense of well-being. Many clients also find that therapeutic touch helps them reconnect with their bodies during a time that can often feel overwhelming.

Whether you are newly diagnosed, currently receiving chemotherapy or radiation, recovering from surgery, living with metastatic disease or celebrating life beyond cancer, your session will be tailored specifically for you. Pressure, positioning and techniques are carefully adjusted so you can relax knowing your care is appropriate for your current stage of treatment.

My goal is to provide a peaceful, nurturing space where you feel seen, supported and cared for, allowing your to experience the healing benefits of safe, compassionate touch.
